Ticketing System for the Green and Purple Lines – Tel Aviv Moves Forward on a Digital Track
The Tel Aviv Light Rail, operating along the Green and Purple Lines, is one of the largest and most significant public transportation projects in Israel—bringing with it a vision of smart, accessible, efficient, and eco-friendly urban mobility.

The Green Line – Stretching approximately 39 kilometers, it will connect Rishon LeZion, Holon, and Tel Aviv, passing through employment centers, universities, hospitals, and key urban hubs.

The Purple Line – Spanning about 27 kilometers, it will connect eastern Gush Dan residents—including Yehud, Or Yehuda, Ramat Gan, and Tel Aviv—with full integration into other public transport systems.
As part of the project, Ludan-Tech is responsible for establishing the smart ticketing infrastructure, which includes ticket vending systems, validation points, payment management, driver consoles, smart terminals, and full integration with Israel’s national transportation information systems.
The system will provide a seamless, digital, and frictionless travel experience, allowing passengers to effortlessly move between lines, payment methods, and stations—with full control, accurate management, and real-time monitoring.
